Your Option is home to team members with the biggest hearts. Through our Your Option Giving Back Program, we have volunteered countless hours of our time to support causes and the communities we serve.

Your Option’s Social Value Committee was launched in December 2021. We wanted to ensure social value is represented across all our service lines, and incorporate members from an array of backgrounds, to achieve the most powerful impact. Your Option Social Value Committee meets fortnightly to measure, collaborate and create a positive difference we can make in our communities.

Apprenticeships and learning play a key role in creating our diverse and inclusive workforce. Our dedicated Learning and Development team supports the career ambitions of younger people, delivering apprenticeship programmes to more than 100 learners last year alone.

Care Home Befriending:
Your Option touches communities across the breadth and depth of the UK, and we’re always looking to give back to those communities wherever we can. Whether it’s through the thousands of volunteer hours we donate to UK charities or providing employment opportunities to underrepresented groups, we’re always looking for opportunities to add social value.

Christmas Toy Appeal:
During 2021 at Christmas, Your Option held a Christmas present appeal for asylum service users’ children. This was one of the main centres of activity by our Social Value Committee in December. The approach to this piece of work was undertaken through developing the relationship with the Baby Bank to ensure that a steady stream of toys, donations, funds, and other in-kind resources were supplied.
